Information Night
Information Night for new players was held September 12, 2023 from 6:30pm – 7:30pm at in the Albany Elementary cafeteria.
Open Gym/Skills Sessions (Boys & Girls 4th, 5th & 6th Grades Only)
These sessions are free and optional. BRING YOUR OWN BASKETBALL, PLEASE.
September 21st and 28th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm in the Albany High School main gym.
Girls: 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Boys: 7:00pm – 8:00pm
Player Evaluations
Evaluations will be held on October 1, 2023 in the BECC as follows:
8:00am – 9:00am : 8th Grade Boys – BECC Court 3
8:00am – 9:00am : 6th Grade Girls – BECC Court 1
9:00am – 10:00am : 7th Grade Boys – BECC Court 3
9:00am – 10:00am : 6th Grade Boys – BECC Court 1
10:00am – 11:00am : 5th Grade Girls – BECC Court 3
Players, please wear your AYBA jersey from last year. If you did not play last year, we will have spares.
If you player’s grade is not listed, they will not be needing evaluations this season.
Practice Schedule
The final practice schedule has not yet been determined. You will be notified by your team’s coach once it has been finalized and it will be available in TeamSnap.
Uniforms
All players in need of a uniform must purchase them directly from Rambow.com. Please do not accept hand-me down uniforms as they may not match and we have ran into duplicate jersey number issues. Information will be posted as soon as available.

Orders will be delivered to AYBA and given out at practice.

Coaches
If you are interested in coaching this year you must complete a Coach Application (even if you have coached in the past). Coaches will be selected after player evaluations are complete. The first coaches meeting will be held October 9th at 7:00pm in the lecture hall at Albany High School.
